While no one enjoys reading about a pair splitting up, whether it’s in a local area or Hollywood, there is some positivity about this divorce that has popularized it in the media. Unlike many celebrity divorces that hit the news, this one appears to be civil or even friendly. The two have been married for just over 10 years. They met in 2003 on the set of Daredevil, one of the first reboots of comic book movies, and then they married two years later in 2005. Now that they have decided to divorce, there have been questions about their properties and children, but news surrounding the divorce suggests it will be friendly.
Even with a divorce, it doesn’t mean they’ll be living far apart or splitting time with their children. The couple has a property with two homes, so they will continue to live on the same property, according to the news. On top of that, they will allegedly co-parent their three children from a place of cooperation. They have been said to have been using a mediator to settle the divorce outside court.
The couple has been positive about one another in recent months, saying they were grateful and supportive of each other. Despite this, the 10-year union has been broken up, and they plan to live separate lives as friends and co-parents.
